Our Mission
UNIDAD
aims to promote a drug free environment in our communities
through coalition efforts that strengthen collaboration, engage
individuals, families, business community, schools, law
enforcement, religious/fraternal organizations, media, health
care professionals, state and local governmental agencies, and
other organizations and civic and volunteer groups.
To
achieve its mission, UNIDAD attempts to:

Reduce
substance abuse in its community through community awareness
projects.

Help
community partnerships strengthen their collaborative efforts
through infrastructure development
·
Enhance intergovernmental collaboration, cooperation, and
coordination with the private and public sector through
partnership steering committees,
·
Enable
communities to conduct data-driven, research-based prevention
planning using the Strategic Planning Framework (SPF) employing
the SPF five steps in an on-going analysis and process. The
five steps of the SPF are: 1) needs assessment, 2) capacity
building, 3) planning, 4) implementation, and 5) evaluation.
·
Provide communities with technical assistance, guidance, and
fundraising support. |
